Gardai and Nurses Get Well-Deserved Break From TikTok

Updated: Apr 13, 2021

Some gardai and nurses yesterday.

Ireland's gardai and nurses yesterday recieved a morale boosting repreive from the horrors of making choreographed dance videos.

However, with a sense of irony worthy of Alanis Morisette, they used their time off to.........go dancing!

Sleazy Dublin pickup joint Copper Faced Jacks hosted a special evening for our frontline heroes. which included music from Norn Iron headbangers Therapy? and a fine bacon and cabbage supper prepared by none other than controversial TV chef Marco Pierre-White.

"We've been in the trenches for the last year, learning dance moves and then filming them on an almost non-stop basis", said nurse Annie Chance (pictured) of the Mayo Clinic, Longford. "What the sheep don't realise is that sometimes we have to do five or six takes before we get it right. It takes a lot of work to make the whole thing seem effortless".

When asked about using her time off to go dancing she laughed, "I can see why that might seem funny to some people, a bit like rain on your wedding day I suppose".

Garda Dawn Raid (pictured) of Cootehill station in Cootehill agreed. "Ah yeah, we get a break form dancin' and then we go dancin' - it's kinda like a free ride when you've already paid", she said, before arresting a member of the public for not wearing a mask.

Nurse Leigh Trimm (pictured, dancing with Garda Ross Common of the canine unit) of the Pfizer-Biotech clinic, Leitrim couldn't wait to capture the whole event on film. "This'll get more likes than the poxy Jerusalema", she opined after several pints of cider, "We'll show them French and Austrian bitches how to make a TikTok video".
